Smiley

Hans Boeve as the inventor of the Smiley

When I was in 6nd grade I had to draw something as an assignment of the professor. I was thinking of what I could do with a drawer.

I thought of eyes. It would be possible. I thought of a mouth. It would be possible. Then I thought of a nose. This would give problems.

Then I thought: "Well just give it a try." And I tried. It became a very beautiful drawing. Main color was yellow, because it was the only color available at that time to color a face.

All drawings where hung up. My drawing was very appealing.

When I saw a "smiley" for the first time, I just had to remember about the drawing I made.
